Hey, love your site - it's pretty much my go-to for movie reviews, considering you specialize in my favorite sort of film, etc, etc, etc, I'm sure you've heard this all before. I worship the ground Mutants walk on, and then collect it for in-depth analysis before I ship it off to Prof. Xavier for safe-keeping, and so forth.
First off, LOVE the site. Not only is it one of the few that is regularily updated, but it shines with irony and wit like a slick alien mucus and/or the the furrowed brow to the square-jawed, tortured hero about to engage his nemesis against an apocolyptic, flamingo pink sunset, all the while remaining strangely sensitive to the Geek aganda. This is notoriously hard to do. Even harder than typing that simile. Anyway, I'm probably the millionth person to send you a note, but I also wanted to let you know you guys rock...eh!
I would just like to extend to you a huge "thank you" for all of your reviews and clever insights on movies. It's been a pleasure to read all of your reviews and features. I know it must be hard (but fun) to watch and critique films almost each and every day while also maintaning a full-time job an life (possibly). Hell, I usually come onto the internet just to read up on mutantreviewers.com. And, though this is e-mailed directly to you, I'd like to thank all of the mutants for their hard work and dedication to not only movies, but to
the fans. Thank You!
Anyway, keep up the good work! I haunt dozens of movie review sites, and I appreciate how you guys keep it light and fun. You rarely savage a film, and when you do it's often hilarious without being cruel. Some sites go a little too snarky. Your reviews tend to read more as survival tales than scathing criticisms. I like that.
Your site is awesome, your reviews are awesome, and you and the other reviewers are, yes, awesome.
Your seemingly unfortunate genetic wrong turn is actually a step forward in the evolution of movie reviewers! You communicate your thoughts in a heartfelt, thoughtful, commercially unbiased way that goes straight into my brain and tells me what I need to know. I discovered your website in a Google search for movie reviews and have been addicted to it ever since. I first read reviews of movies I liked but no one around me seemed to (The Hulk, Donnie Darko). Then I read reviews of lots of movies I had scene just to get a feel for your system. Your reviews were perfect! The assortment of sometimes dischordant views made it even better because that allowed me to tease out the parts that I would need to watch for. Great job! Wonderful website! One of my very favorites!
Just went to see your website and I think it's great, just made it into one of my favourite links!
I am a frequent viewer of your site and wanted to tell you how much I admire it's design and content.
[after Hurricane Katrina] Thanks for posting the link to American Red Cross. I read your site daily for a year now and always thought the mutants were the coolest. Now I know they also have a huge heart. The Red cross site is down due to activity but one it comes up I will donate money. Thanks for all you've done to make my and my wife's life a better one.
I would just like to say that I really enjoy your site and visit it daily. Thank you for your wonderful site and keep up the great work.
Just came across you guys. You are definitely my kind of reviewers! Where have you been all these years that I quit going to the movies? I believe that I can trust you to pick the best.
Ha! I'm a big fan of MRFH actually.
Just wanted to congratulate you on a great Web site. I've been reading it off and on for years and am amazed at its growth. Great site, great writing.
I continue to love the site! Keep up the good work.
When I found that many of your reviews looked like my video collection and video wish list, I knew I had found one of the greatest movie review sites ever. I've read your webpage from high school, through five years of college, and even now when I'm out in the big scary world with a job. Not only do you guys give me the benefit of having four or five reviews for one movie all in one, but the reviews are insightful and cleverly written, and I get the fringe benefit of learning about you guys' personal lives in the bargain! Your extras also are great, from how to survival a horror film, to how to win an academy award, to "You Know, That Guy," there's always something fun to read. And that comic DNA Error wrote with the Night of the Living Dead theme, hil-freaking-arious. Also Poolman's Day in
the Life at the Mutant Office never fails to make me laugh. You guys rule. You make a professional-quality webpage yet still have day jobs, and you probably don't get as much appreciation as you should. Just know that this fan will be watching and laughing for as long as this website lives.
As I said, we thought you had magical powers. The contents of MRFH is like our wishes answered. Who can blame us for thinking you know what we think, and like? The website is my cup of coffee in the morning. I get cranky if I don't get my dose. I got lucky finding your website (I have FOTR:LOTR to thank for that), and hopefully my luck doesn't change with you guys. Thanks for helping make my days weirder and Ash-and-Monty-Python filled, among others.
Just wanted to say I love your site and the variety of reviews for each movie. Great selection of older movies too! Together with CHUD.com this is the first place I turn for reviews of offbeat titles.
Thanks for all the great reviews, tidbits, and oddities. It's sites like yours that make the 'net so cool.
I just want to say that I really appreciate your site and all the hard work you put into it. Every time I see a movie, the first website I go to is... IMDB. But the second one is always www.mutantreviewers.com. Of all the movie review sites on the web, yours is the only one I've found that seems to be immune to both the marketing hype and the anti-marketing backlash. I only wish you guys and gals had more time to review more movies. Thanks for the site and keep up the excellent work.
I must admit I love your website. Ever since I first stumbled on it about 4 years ago, I have been totally hooked. Because of your reviews, I have discovered movies I would have never known existed (UHF for example). Do keep up the good work!
I love the site! Keep up the good work!
Please keep those terrific movie reviews coming. I stop by your website several times a month to see what is worth watching. You guys are generally right on the money when it comes to whether or not a movie is worth watching. The reviews are still as great as they were a couple of years ago when I first started visiting your page. Thanks for keeping it updated and adding the forum. That is a very nice touch.
I am a huge fan of your site. Your reviews are so much better than normal critics'.
Wicked, wicked site as always.
I really do like your reviews, they're funny to read and since I came upon your page I found some more movies that I really do like and from which I never heard before.
I just wanted to drop you and the other Mutants a line to let you know how much I appreciate the time and effort that you put into the site and the forums. My inability to give that kind of commitment is the reason that I'm not applying for Mutant-hood, but the constant efforts which the team put forward to make MRFH the exciting and friendly community which it has become have not gone unrecognised. If there were awards for this kind of group event I am sure that you would all have run out of space for your groaning display cabinets! Thank you for brightening up my morning with the daily calendar and for providing such a cheerful, vibrant online community. May it long continue!
Alas, another soul scalped from the electronic ether! Stumbled upon your musings (as I guess many have!) Now enconsed in my faves column!!
I just haveta say, this is an awesome site all over. I happened upon it during a random Monty Python quote search and I've spent about 45 minutes (so far) looking through it. Thanks for doing this!
There is no better movie review site. I have felt truly fortunate to have found your site a year ago!
I love you guys. I've been reading the site for years -- since the front page was just a long, cluttered list of updates. You were innovative and funny then, but you're innovative, funny, AND polished now. I appreciate your dedication and will continue to go to MRFH for my movie review needs for many years to come. Just how many is determined by the length of time I manage to avoid a violent and sudden death.
I just wanted to give you a long-overdue shout out for the fantasticness that is MRFH. My wife and I are
HUGE fans of the site, have it bookmarked, check it (almost) daily, and tell everyone that it is one of
"best... websites... ever."
Thanks for the fantastic site, It's the first one I go to before I even check my e-mail. Keep up the good work!
You guys (and gals) are funny
I just wanted to get this off my chest real quick YOU ARE SO HOT in ferris bueller's day off. its not even funny. you are th hottest guy I have ever will ever see thank you now you can think I am psycho!
I just recently found your site, and I found it most informative and entertaining. Thank you for providing a site with good reviews of what would often otherwise be obscure or misunderstood movies. It's good that there's a site dealing with many mainstream and obscure titles. Keep up the good work!
so i stumbled upon yer site somehow *ahhh... the joy of google and the sometimes random results* bored i looked around and OMG... you reviewed bad taste! *YaY* kudos and all tha drivel! again, big ups to you :)
I have found what is officially the BEST....MOVIE SITE....EVER. Mutant Reviewers From Hell is the name, and if you couldn't judge from the title alone, it's run by the best sort of people to run a movie website: Bunch of folks who sit around, watch, and occasionally mock movies. God Bless You, Mutant Reviewers From Hell. God Bless You.
I've really been enjoying your website - it's prevented from getting any work done for several hours.
I am a big fan of the MRFH. I check the site out at least once a day.
Dear Sweet MRFH, I know you all probably get around a million emails a year telling you how you’ve changed lives or at the very least inspired some to change. What fools could patronage such filth? I even learned about “Into the Mouth of Madness” from y’all. You’ve helped me through hard times (I actually paid to see Ave Ventura: When Nature Calls) and have helped me to become a better movie go-er. I’m glad you exist.
"Incidently, Mutant Reviewers is the cat's meow for movie reviews."
I may as well take this opportunity to do the usual kissing up and say that I love the site and keep up the good work.
Hey man, love your site. Keep on truckin'.
Great job ...on the site, I mean. I'm just tired of cranky reviewers, y'know? With most sites, I feel like I've been defiled by an entire Turkish prison after reading their reviews, what with the "Far More Irritable Than Thou" attitude prevailing amongst reviewers these days (games included). However, I've come to enjoy your site, with its fresh minty feeling, completely devoid of harmful histamine inducers!
I love your site! It's part of my daily schedule!
I was turned on to MRFH about a year ago by a friend on another website. I have gone back ever since for interesting commentary and fun factoids about movie after movie after movie.
I love the site, so keep it up. I've basically relied on you guys for my past two months worth of movie rentals, and we seem to agree on almost everything...Including that The Doom Generation is the WORST MOVIE EVER!!!!! Gah! I felt so much pain at the ending... A worthless peon not worthy of the great mutantness
Hi, I had a question about your friend Kim. Did she really die? I read her memorial page and I was a little confused. By the way, great site!!! Love the reviews!!
I think your web sight kicks ass! I couldn't agree more about The Doom Generation!
Well I'll start out with the usual "I love your site" stuff... It is an awesome site, lets me remember all
my favorite moments from all my movies and all that good stuff...
It's inconceivable that I'm addicted to a movie review web site. It's inconceivable that I've gone so far as to actually read the bio's of the people running the site. It's inconceivable that I'm writing fan mail to the people running the web site. (insert Spanish voice telling me maybe I don't understand what inconceivable means) I LOVE Mutant Reviewers.com! I don't remember how I ran into it, but I check it every day to read the new reviews and form opinions about possible movie rentals on the weekends. I watched "Army Of Darkness" for the first time earlier this year thanks to the site. I can't believe I've made it this far in my life without watching it before! Thanks for existing!
Suggestion for your motto: "Reviews Are Hell!"
I like y'alls wed page it makes work go by faster.
Your site is better than bananananana pants!
I just wanted to pass on a Kudos for your website and the originality of your reviews and site format. I
already bookmarked the site and I know I will become a loyal visitor.
I ran across your website looking for pictures from the movie 5th element ( I know, it is sad, I love that movie, no one else does so I am making my own desktop theme). For some reason yahoo.com threw up your addy with my search... I just thought I would let you know that I thought you were very sexy/witty.
Your site is most excellent!
I know I'm a total stranger you've never even heard from before, but I am a total stranger you've never even heard from before who frequently visits your *fantastic*, *extaordinary*, *amazing*, *original*, *inspiring*, *incredibly entertaining*, and just plain cool site.
I just wanted to pass along a much deserved "nice one" on the re design. I love the site, I love all of the info you PACK into it. I think this new design is going to help a lot with my surfing of the site. Keep up the good work and a special little nod to DNAerror for the graphics. Looks as cool as the site is.
Can I please beg Clare and Andie to do more and yet more of these wonderfully funny commentaries/discussions? I did unfortunately fall out of my seat from laughter, but I consider it a price worth paying.
MRFH KICKS BUTT! ROCK ON!!
I just came upon your site for the first time, and I spent half a work day checking it out!
It's amazing how long this site has been up and updated. There are so many sites out there with about 500 hits
(not visits, hits) on one specific small topic/video game/pet hamster that only gets updated once every time a blue moon passes through Februrary 29th. I just wanted to thank you for having a good website!
Hi, I just wanted to know that I think that your web site is brilliant and that I'm glad that there are other people out there who like some of the strange sort of movies I do. Keep it up.
MRFH kicks ass! Must be the Canadian content...
I just wanted you to know that my husband and I really enjoy your site, we are such movie freeks.
Mutant Reviewers is one of my favorite websites to visit. Always an enjoyable read.
First, I'm not a freaky stalker, I'm just bored, 17 and grounded. I was reading reviews on your website for the past two hours (No life whatsoever) and you have really good taste in movies.
Your site is very lovely indeed. The movie one, something to do with mutants and things.
I'm having Clare withdrawals :-) I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE Clare - OK I know she's married, I'm in Australia but one can dream can't they? You all rock
I would like to say that MRFH is absolutely outrageous!! Phenomenally fabulous...
I absolutely adore your site. I love checking the reviews and seeing what everyone has to say.
Hi I just wanted to say how well done you're website is. I like movies a lot and this site makes movies fun to read about. You're reviews are funny. Especially when you dislike a movie. I especially liked the 10 things justin hates about the phantom menace. That was great. It was
everything I hate about episode one. Keep up the good work.
I stumbled upon your site accidentally, during one of my various fun-filled late night romps through the 'net. I'm impressed, to say the least. Intelligent information (a note on that later; refer to the P.S.)...on the web! What a novel concept!
Your odd web site is actually interesting in a hip though confusing way.
I just thought I'd let yall know that you freaking rule. Thanks for making such a cool website!
i found you guys around two years ago and read your review of repo man, all ican say is i was intrigued now its among my favorite cult films any way one more thing when are yall going to do the AI review i cant F#$%in' wait keep it real mutated
I go nowhere else for my movie reviewing needs. You all do great work. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one out there who has spent more hours than I care to think about watching movies. I only wish I had signed the guestbook earlier and showed my appreciation.
Howdy sir Mutant Reviewer from Hell. I have been a loyal viewer of your fabulous website, and i would just like to say that it is the funniest website out there. You write excellent reviews and review excellent movies in return. Ok, enough butt kissing...
I really enjoy your movie website, I didn't realize you guys were from Canada.
I have to say I love your site. It is my holy shrine, I worship it just like
a Muslim would worship the dome or how a Cathlic would worship the pope
or...well not really. I'm just an everyday loser who loves your site. I
visit this site almost every day. Your reviews are actually entertaining and
I agree with most of the reviews. If all the mutants ever meet, you should
make a Mutant Reviewers from Hell movie. If you would ever make it i'll be in
it or see it.
How could you fail to add the wonderfully ass-twitchingly good Ahhnold flick,
TRUE LIES? Have you seen it?
this is the best site ever known to man! Except for all those sites that are
better, that is. but this place still rules like King of Ireland! Rule On
Mutants!
First off, Mutant Reviewers from Hell is GREAT! Your site is, by far, the
best cult movie reviewing site I've ever seen. Granted, it's also the only
one I've seen, but... you guys rule. Keep up the good work.
I pop by the MRFH website quite often as I find it's a good laugh, and
gives the best (i.e. most-useful, least-pretentious) web-reviews of
films I've found.
this site is very pretty. i like to come here and read the review for Legend
Of Drunken Master. this place is nice. i like nice.
I just stumbled across Mutant Reviewers. Excellent site. Unlike Mr. Cranky, who admittedly is funny, you guys are actually informative and your critiques are (in this amateur critic's opinion, anyway) right on the money for the most part.
Was searching for a Simple Minds album, which inevitably brought up "Breakfast Club" links.... which brought me to your site. Just wanted to send you guys a note to say that I
appreciated your eccentric ramblings and your rating system. :) Added you to my favorites, and will stop in again.
Upon seeing the Mutant reviewers from hell site...I was awestruck! I loved it! The reviews are excellent and pretty much go along with what I've thought or believed (except I think you liked Jack Frost 2 slightly more than I did). Keep up the awesome work on the site!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for the site. At last i've found a movie review site that isn't populated by condescending film students. One that has more than a handful of reviews and actually watches the movies that i do. And treats them, if not with respect then at least with affection. The clincher I had to admit was finding the review of hudson hawk. This movie has been a guilty guilty pleasure for me that i never, ever mention liking, let alone enjoying, to anyone. Actually, once I started wandering through the review archives section, I discovered a number of films that I have enjoyed for years, both the well known and the
obscure, and ones i haven't seen in years and had forgotten such as cry baby. I have to say I love the ratings system. Was growing bored by the numerous variations on the whole five
star rating system. And having multiple reviews always give a better picture of the good parts of a film. It's always interesting to see what other people think of a film you adore or loath and their reasons. I'm not asking for any particular film to be reviewed, i think you guys are picking the rights ones all on your own.
what is up Gigi? You rule! all of your reviews are informative AND to the point. keep up the good work!
I love your website. I visit it frequently. You and I tend to agree on things.
I bow and worship at the throne of MRFH(and not b/c I lack a religion at the moment). Your movie reviews were insightful, clever, eccentric and most importantly honest. I grow weary of freakishly high pitched industry tarts coping out for a mundane amount of ducats and/or a name credit on the back of some wimpy movie now used as a coaster at Bar Mitzvahs (trust me, their being used). Your site nasally dragged emotions from my troubled subconscious that I've repressed since birth....okay, okay maybe not all that, but you're an interesting read I'll admit. I've laughed, I've cried, I've grown as a human being, m/w in the process of burning three ham and cheese sandwiches. My tear ducts, the void in my soul from which dark humor originates and my digestive tract thank you. If you do ever wussy out and bow to soft money whoring, inform us. I understand ya'll got bills, but I'd like to renounce my alliegence and stop skinning and deboweling small forest dwelling mammals in the name of the Holy POOLMAN.
Your Jobs are punishing bad movies and the morons that make them! I'm unworthy! I love it! Continue the Punishment! Long live the Mutants!
This site and movie can only be summed up in one word: Groovy.
Me being the curious person I am decided to see what you guys were all about. Okay, see the above title once again ("You rule"). Seriously. How long I've been without you!!! I can't believe I've never come across your site before!
Your reviews on The Mutant Reviewers From Hell website are incredible! First
of all the site is fantastic...
I love your page. I've been reading it for at least the last two years.
MRFH is funny. It maked me laugh good and hard. Too much to read! Brain overloading!! AHHHH!!! I'll actually have to, like, visit often, and stuff.
First of all I just wanted to tell you guys how much I love your site. I just found it a few days ago and I absolutely love it (oh, yea, I said that already). Justin, if this ever makes it to your computer screen, I thouroughly (what the hell did I just spell?) enjoyed your review of The Shawshank Redemption. And this comes from someone who is a huge fan of this movie. Great job. Just a fan of one of the truely great sites left on the internet,
Great site by the way, the details on the reviews are excellent.
I just want to tell you guys that you've become my new zen masters. Unlike other reviewing sites you actually grade flicks on their cultability instead of marketability or actual quality. Sad to say that I've had to explain to my friends numerous times why the Kevin Smith movies are works of art. And none of them understand my obsession with the works of Sam Raimi and the brilliant Evil Dead trilogy. They tell me these movies are the "dumbest things" and that I'm out of my head. Nice to know that at least I've got you mutants on my side. Smackamadgab!
ahh... refreshingly juvenile. Allegorical of the nature of the human struggle. (I don't know what that means, but someone said that to me the other day and it sounded impressive)
I am insane and have no life. This is why I have read MRFH up and down and was ecstatic to find this untapped vein of amusment. You have a pleasant day or evening, depending on when you recieve this email.
Thanks, and thanks to the rest -- I LOVE visiting this site!!
I'm an avid fan of this site and am so glad I can find it.. Going to Blockbuster
is no longer an empty and void experience!
First of all i would like to say it is good to see that i'm not the only cheese pudding eating weirdo out here who likes these strange and bizarre "B" flicks.
You are a f***ing herb. That is one of the greatest flicks made, d**k. Apparently, you know nuthin' about nuthin'. You're probably just like the types of kids I had beaten up in high school. Attractive looking page I must admit.
Where the hell did you find this chic Clare? She strips the flame job off of my '67 stang her reviews are so hot. Excellent addition.
I just wanted to write and let you know that I enjoy your website and I especially enjoy Clare's reviews...they are fun and informative and so far, the movies I've rented that she's suggested have been up to snuff! So tell her to keep it up...if she continues I'll never again have to worry about not having a date on a Saturday night!
What is the whole deal with the MRFH offices? Is it an actual office where you all work (give or take). Or is it just something you guys made up?
Now that I have regained the breath I lost by rolling around on the floor laughing so hard I couldn't see, I am writing to say that I am hopelessly in love with this Mutant Reviewer's from Hell site. I found it by mistake when I was looking to the words for some song from Run Lola Run and I ran across the words "Mutant Reviewer's From Hell do Run Lola Run". I couldn't help it. I'm still high off the X-Bug, so anything that says Mutant has my undivided attention until I get off the movie buzz. Oh, I'm in love with you all. You're so freakin' funny! Thank you very much for making my day a little more . . umm . . . well, I guess it was painful when I was thrashing around on the floor laughing, but now that the throbbing in my skull has calmed down, it's all good. You just rock.
I dont want to be a prince..I want to sing!..praises about this page.. I come often once a week looking for down to earth reveiws on movies that people who dont eat paint chips actually watch! keep up the good work freaks.
This is a great site, you don't know how many movies I've gotten just cuz I read the reviews! Fresh dialogue (not scripted is it?) and it's a good way to pass time!! Luv it luv it luv it!
You know what? I think i'm gonna do exactly that - tell everyone about this site, cause i've never seen such intelligent and funny reviews anywhere else.
What the hell?! Its been about a week and a half since your last review!!
Whats going on?! Your site is the greatest movie site to ever exist!! Don't
slack off now!! Not in the thick of summer when us movie freaks are huddled
around our VCRs the most!!!!
This site is cooler than a dog eating ten day old bagels.
All I can say is keep it up and do a hell of alot more reviews, I get bored quite often.
You are very witty and I have enjoyed what I have read. Thanks for a fun filled half-hour.
I love your site, by the by. It's both entertaining and mind-numbing. Good job.
Neat page! Yep, I totaly approve and you can now die happy knowing some obscure person thinks this page is just the bee's knees! Don't you feel special now? Has your day been made by this special comment? :)
Well, as a follower of all movies that are oddball I'm glad to see that the canadian thingy was a joke, and i would like to say that i really liked reading those new reviews about the elm street series. all your reviews are good, and I'm going to have to suggest that maybe yall could review a few modern classics like the star wars trilogy, and maybe others like dazed and confused. anyway keep up the good work.
You have a great freaking site
Hey Love your site, it rules!!!!
I just spent an hour reading your very trenchant, sometimes badly spelled, mostly hilarious and dead-on reviews of "Buckaroo Banzai," "Monty Python's Holy Grail," "Breakfast At Tiffany's," "Chasing Amy" and especially "The Sure Thing." You are all so cute I want to spit. But better yet, I want to run out and rent all these movies again. Thanks!
I love this page - you guys are so funny
Your review site kicks ass! I'm glad to see SOME-body appreciates Fight Club...
FROM THE GREAT CANADIAN TAKEOVER
This site kicks major amounts of ass, and I do think you should tie Justin to a chair, make him watch "Joe's Rant" and drink Molson. I have nothing against Yankees, but god do they not know much about Canada.
SAVE JUSTIN! I MISS HIM!!!
Call me a threat to my country (I'm from Toronto, believe it or not) but I like the old MRFH (murfh) better than MRFC. How the hell do you pronounce "MRFC"? I do think the anthem should stay on it forever and ever, amen.
Hey Canuck, I can't believe that your doing this to such a great site, without Justin this site isn't going to be worth s**t, and all this canadian bull is making me sick. So just get Justin back and go play with yourself, damn canuck. [ed. note: Hey, lighten up on the boy, it was both Justin and PoolMan's idea!]
Love the site--the reviews are always entertaining. - Michael
This page is truly outstanding, you've got a gift man. Woohoo, yeah, yeah!
your 10 things you hate about star wars are money shots right in george lucas's eye. that was pretty much everything i thought about that movie but i never found the time to make a list.
MY SWEET BANANAS!!! EMPIRE RECORD RULEZ!! thank you thank you.....i'm doin an english project and every friggin' review is about how much they think it sucks and you guys are just soooooooooo orgasmically cool!!!!!! YES!!! hehehe
I love MRFH,I love you for making it and lighting my life, and I want to have your children!
I have absolutely NO social life (I'm a senior in high school by the way.) And after the dismissal bell rings, I'm like deja vu and dimissed just as quickly by everyone (I have a habit of injecting movie quotes in just about everything I say.) So since I'm never out of the house, I watch movies. And since I love to laugh, I prefer funny, weird, and generally unhip ones. This is THE site for an oddball like me. Keep up the great work.
Very nice site. I like your reviews! You see, most review sites I go to tick me off but I like yours! Even if I don't agree with you I'm so busy laughing at how you criticize the movies that I don't care! :) Have you ever thought of critiquing Young Guns (oh come on, the spirit world scene, who doesn't love that?!)? I must say, I did like Scream 3... probably because I haven't seen the first two yet but, you know... I laughed... I cried... or just laughed. Anyway, very nice site (mmm... just said that) and well... I guess I'll get going now. :)
(Cartman voice) This site is like really cool and stuff. (Slater from Dazed and Confused voice) Alright, check you later.
I am truly at the best movie review site on the net. I came directly by reading your review on Hudson Hawk which is my second favorite Movie of all time followed closely by Jonny Dangerously. Thank you for making such an Awesome site!!
Hey Jade was right. I had to see this site. She is a great person to have in my brain. She has impeccable taste. Having two people in one body keeps you from being lonely. However six gets crowded.
It's been so long since I have been able to drop by your ever-amusing and wonderful Mutant Reviewers page, and I was thrilled to see that, among other shiny, new things for me to look at, there was a special section devoted entirely to trashing Phantom Menace. I have never been so disappointed in a movie in my life. Your comments were right on target and absolutely cracked me up, leaving the other students in the computer lab to glare ominously and wonder what my problem was (as far as they know, I was supposed to be watching an instructional video for my German class). It's good to keep them a little off guard. I just wanted to tell you that I greatly enjoyed them and to, as always, keep up the great work.
Movi is great site is great its all good . Circular like a carselle it goes up and down and around.
Very good site, great humor attached to reviews. Enjoy reviews from Toni, anymore in the near future? Keep up your efforts as they are well worth it. Thanks for brightening my day.
I've visited all your pages for a while now, and I agree with just about everything you say. Whether they be films, movies or cult schlock, every work has its redeeming quality. (even Weekend at Bernie's II has a use, though I'll be damned if I know it) Frankly, I think its just that you have to really love movies to appreciate even the bad ones. God bless Ed Wood, more power to John Waters and may Sam Raimi always work but never sell out.
I am guessing that you are guys by the sound of your site and name. Well anyways I totally agree with all you guys. Cool site. I think your guys' oppions are great and yeah. well keep chillin'....
Your page is great and reviews the unsung movies of moviedom
Wow, nice place. Best damn movie reviews I ever saw. Where do you find all that info? It takes me forever to find sh*te for my reviews. Anywho, great site, keep up the good work. Hmmm, this is pretty coherent for 4:00 in the morning. Whatever, I'll be back. You just remember that justin, I'll be back. I'll be back! I'LL BE BACK!!!! Oh sh*te, here come those psychological ward fellows again. Quick Napoleon, to the batmobile!
your site is really cool, and it's great to see people review whatever the f**k they want....and say whatever....
I enjoy your website, but watch the Canada crap!
Hi. I love the site and come here all the time but why has no one caught on to the fact that we've not had 2000 or 1000 years of cinema as you have stated both?
I don't quite know what to say. MRPH is possibly the greatest review site ever and I feel my life would be somewhat emptier had I not stumbled upon it one dark and lonely night while doing a report on "The Crow."
Hello all who read the mystical guestbook! You mustn`t read from the book!!! (a little Army of Darkness stuff there!) Anyhoo, yes, believe it or not, this is the POOLMAN`s brother.! (Gasp!) yes, separated after 19 years after birth, the illustrious pooleBOY is here to tell you that there is more that ONE poole! Oh yes, he will be mine! Okay peace out!(is best Rob Schneider impression of him as a Greek wierdo... look, just see Big Daddy, you`ll see what I mean) ...and if I don` see ya... good afternoon, good evening, and good night! MGB RULES!!! Columbo (aka pooleBOY!)
First off, your page rocks! This is the greatest collection of films to be assembled and reviewed that I have ever seen! Kick @$$ page!
For some odd reason, I decided to find a review of The Lost Boys, my favorite flick as a young teen. Yours is the best, I laughed my ass off and this is the best website I've found so far. However, The Lost Boys is not really a horror flick at heart. Due to the presence of all the cute boys, (Dwayne in particular, rather yummy, the girls know which one I mean) Its really a chick flick thinly veiled as a vampire movie. I was twelve and it didn't even scare me then! But I will be back!
Wow, movie reviewers with taste. I never would have thought. Love the site (and movies) - hope to come back soon.
Keep up the good work over there! I love you guys!
I was looking at reviews for Reservoir Dogs, which I just rented tonight and I came across IMDB's link to your review. I loved your site! It's a cool place...
Hey this site is awesome! It is the first sign of any people that actually like the kind of movies I like. Keep up the good work and update as much as possible.
I would prefer to avoid being cheesy here but: I love your site. Hands down the best selection of films on any review pages, including any with all of yours by accident. Even the ones you hate are well chosen and by far the best poor film selection around. Well, here's hoping you all keep it together and keep those great reviews coming.
I am new to your site, but after reading just a few of your movie reviews it's already one of my favorites. Almost all the movies on your site are the flicks we watch again and again.
Hey there, just have to say, I blundered my way onto the 'Mutant reviewers from hell' webpage awhile back, and I have to say, it's pretty damn funny!
I will definetly recommend your movie review website to others. I think it's great that there is a website that reviews cult classic movies. Keep up the good work.
I must say how much i love your site. So many of your listed movies are among my personal favourites.
i have enjoyed your website for quite some time now, and i have seen many of the moovees that you review here. I want you to know that i love this website and your reviews are excellent (finally a really good cult moovee website with reviews i can relate to)
In case you were wondering (assuming you even bothered to read this garbage), the subject line was about your whole page, man. PCU (Don't be that guy.), UHF, Clerks (37 GUYS!?), ye olde Evil Dead Trilogy, and even --Pi.-- Sure, I've got my three coolest friends who know PCU, thought they saw UHF at 3 AM on Comedy Central, and loved Clerks because I made them see it, and yeah they (the first four, anyway) are CULT movies for a reason; regardless, wow, I'm NOT THE ONLY ONE! I used to do casual movie reviews, but fell into a pattern, you see, because I only enjoyed reviewing anything I really hated. You've got a formula too, only review the kickass cult movies that sit in all the wrong boxes on my shelf next to classics like Clockwork Orange (as if Clerks and Pi weren't fucked up enough...) Anyway, kudos, keep up the good work, if I had my own crappy hastily drawn web award you'd get it. The greatest (only) PCU page ever made would have been good enough, but you went the extra mile and all I can say about your page is this-- it's tasteless, disgusting, and offensive. I like it!
First I'd like to say i love the site. I can't tell you how many sites I have visited that don't ever make mention of Anime, but you have reviews of two of the best animes to ever come out of Japan.
Thank you for effectively and creatively helping me to waste time at work.
Nice page. I love the reviews, they're hilarious!
This site is awesome. You all have good taste and like the same movies I like... keep on rockin'!
Fantastic page! I visit nearly daily, just to make sure it's still here and I'm typing correctly. If only I could help out; if you ever need any reviews, just give me a holler! Keep up the good work, and marvel at my use of exclamation points!
Great page, baby!
I discovered your page 3 days ago, and have been back at least once a day ever since. Your site is awesome!
By the way, great site! Nice to see you fellow reviewers contributing to the net medium of communication.
It's so relieving to find others who love films that fall outside of the Hollywood mold.
This is the coolest site I have found in a long-ass time. I am a big fan of cult movies and it is about time I found a treasure-trove of the stuff. God bless you all, you are doing a great service to humanity... Or maybe not, but who gives a damn?
I visited your Mutant Reviewers page and I just wanted to drop a note, and say yay! ...Intelligent reviews, based on what you enjoy, instead of what film critics tell you you should like. Thank you for putting in the effort, and when I rent, I will trust your recomendations.
Okay you know something is truly funny when you read it and you laugh Out Loud. Something has to be funny if you actually go out of your way to get your friends to read it so they can laugh too. And your site is amazing. I hate complimenting people and yet I feel no shame in telling you that this is one of the funniest, and just plain best sites I've ever visited. Keep up the good work.
Great job! This is really a professional site. I am most impressed in your ability!
Great site, keep reviewing!
Yer review of "The Doom Generation" summed up everything I thought about that piece of stinking refuse... and it also happened to be one of the funniest things I've read in a long while. Just wanted to say that.
You don't tie duct tape, you tape duct tape.
Kicks ass, your site that is.
This site ROCKS!!! You guys have a great format and genuine biting wit. From what I've seen, you should have Siskel and Ebert's thumbs on your trophy case! Peace!
Pretty damned good if I do say so myself...our opinions may differ on defining 'the cutting edge' as a cult film ...but other than that small roadblock I'd say top of the line stuff here.
Kudos to you mutants on a fabulous page! Keep up the good work and when our films become cult items we'll know where to send them!
I didn't even eat the salmon mousse!!! Seriously though, it's good to see people enjoying the right movies for the right reasons . . .
I was so astounded by the general amazement and wonder of your
site...
It's good to see that there are people out there with just as odd a taste in movies as I have. You have inspired me. Bravo.
have been looking for a site where the discussion of really cheesy movies is the apex of human thought-----then, i found this one-------
Back in the prehistoric days (the paleolithic or mesozoic era, I think) I co-edited an 8 page union local newsletter using a typewriter, scissors & glue. It was a lot of work, and I know that it must take a lot of work to put together a site like this. It's nice to know someone out there has "too much time on their hands" or some other politically incorrect reason to put together a site like this!
I love the reviews and I didn't think others existed that like those movies. Of course, perhaps they do need to increase my dosage.....
Wow! After being forced into this site (Believe Mr. Watts, PoolMan is much bigger) I must say I'm impressed. No where on this netherworld called the "net" will you find such a complete review of what should be the worlds most cherished movies. Keep up the good work!
I'm glad I found more people who like "Hudson Hawk" I thought the Aviary guy was the only one. "Hudson Hawk" was great. You people are cool.
Great work on the site... it's a pleasure to read so much accurate and genuinely witty critisism.
What an interesting twist of a web site!! Looks GREAT and LOVED reading the bios!
Oh gosh, this is some funny stuff. I've only seen about half of the movies, but you guys reviewed them to a tee. I couldn't have said it better myself.
What a great treat to come across your website! I was expecting a bunch of smart-arsed superior dancers stomping all over Hollywood, but found instead measured, thoughtful, and even emotional reviews (hey, we like the same things-- so must you not
be a brilliant lot?). Keep up the good work-- grand to see such humor and independent thought!

Get Me Outta Here:
![]() Among other things, this page claimed MRFH was "The sight which publishes the review of the movie of the enormous quantity". Also, "Furthermore everyone, valuable in order not to make the gold and time wasteful, before going to the rental shop, please try checking this sight."
![]() Cult-film analysis is the top priority of the Mutant Reviewers From Hell, a cheery crew of devoted film fans who recently celebrated the posting of their 1,500th film review. Devoted to providing plainspoken write-ups of movies, be they Hollywood blockbusters or oddball independent classics, this site not only provides irreverent, no-punches-pulled film criticism but also gives each picture a detailed "Mutant Meter" rating... The Mutant Reviewers are prolific, good-natured and witty, and because their Web page usually offers more than one review of a given picture, the opinions in their archives tend to be more balanced than at other review sites. Web surfers interested in thoughtful (but never stuffy) movie talk will definitely want to give this site a thorough look.
There’s no holding back these movie reviewers with their take-no-prisoners approach. Most are film geeks who love their stuff, but when upset they’ll let you know. As far as they’re concerned, Return Of The King should have been called Revenge Of The Back-up Hobbits.
