Summary Capsule: Sex ruins everything.
We don’t usually make a big to do on the front page of Mutant Reviewers when someone from the movie industry passes away (our forums take care of the rememberances), but in the case of the recent death of John Hughes, we had to make an exception. This was a guy who virtually defined the 80’s teen movie, launched the Brat Pack, and faded away as the 90’s hit. Today we want to honor Hughes’ work by pointing you to his movies — ones that he wrote and/or directed — on our site:

Tagline: “The battle for humanity has a beginning.”
Summary Capsule: A teenage girl thinks her father doesn’t know all that much… and boy, in this case she’s right.
We at Mutant Reviewers HQ — where the party never stops and the lawsuits never cease — receive a constant stream of e-mails that go something like this: “Dear Mutants, I love you and want to have your babies even though I’m technically a dude, but I cannot abide the fact that Mike has yet to post his top ten favorite movies with the rest of y’all! So until he does, I’m holding your (son/daughter/cousin/weird uncle Larry/babysitter) hostage.”
Frankly, we’re running out of relatives and friends at this point and the FBI has stopped taking our calls, so Mike’s finally agreed to unleash the awesome power of his mind upon the world.
